The meeting was held with several organizations that fall under the UN on the 28th of May, 2018.
The manager of Gawelan Camp, Mr. Ismail Ali Ismail has been replaced by Mr. Salar Abdulmajid. The official ceremony took place on the 27th of May, 2018.
For the purpose of supporting the IDPs, the management of Darkar Camp arranged for their documents (ID cards etc.) to be arranged at the camp. The process started on the 23rd of May, 2018. Several organizations like HARIKAR will be assisting during the process.
With the purpose of beautifying the camps, a contest of who has the most beautiful garden was held among the IDPs of Esyan Camp on the 22nd of May, 2018. The contest was organized by Lemon Tree Trust, in cooperation with the management of the camp. About 750 plants and flowers were distributed for this purpose among the IDPs at the camp. The first place will receive $300, the second place $200 and the third place $100.
The governor’s assistant had a meeting with World Vision on the 22nd of May, 2018. During the meeting they spoke about the circumstances of the IDPs and refugees and how more community services can be brought to the IDPs and refugees.
Because of the role of Amar Foundation inside the camps of the IDPs and refugees, especially in the sector of health, BRHA gave them a certificate of appreciation on the 22th of May, 2018.
For the purpose of creating job opportunities for the youth at Kabarto 1 Camp, a carpenting course was started on the 20th of May, 2018. About 25 boys will be participating in the course, that was made possible the Rawange Foundation and the German organization HELP, in cooperation with the management of the camp (BRHA).
