Mr. Ismail Mohamed Ahmed, the governor’s assistant in IDP and refugee affairs, visited several families at Esyan Camp on the 9th of December, 2017. These families have suffered material damage due to a fire that caught three tents the night before. About 15 families suffered material damage due to the fire. The governor’s assistant promised immediate support and that the burned tents would be replaced immediately.
In cooperation with the management of Gawelan Camp, Save The Children organized a festival for the refugee children on the 3rd of December, 2017. This was done to support the rights of children.
In cooperation with BRHA, UNHCR and NRC opened a High school named Peyam (with 10 classrooms) at Domiz 2 Camp on the 5th of December, 2017.
In cooperation with the management of Gawelan Camp, ASB and DPA distributed funds among the children at the camp (under 18yrs of age). Each of the 3,955 children received 11,000IQD on the 4th of December, 2017.
