In cooperation with BRHA, the directorate of migration and displacement (the office in Dohuk) replaced 2,873 (6 x 4m) old and torn tents of the IDP families that live at Esyan camp. This happened on the 28th of December.
On the 22th of December, UNHCR gave a seminar to the members of the management of Esyan camp on refugee rights, human rights and the role of charitable organizations inside camps. The role of governments in receiving refugees was also discussed during the seminar.
The management of Shekhan camp distributed children’s clothing at Shekhan IDP camp. About 250 sets of clothing were distributed among the children younger than 5 years of age. A charitable person made the distribution possible on the 27th of December.
In cooperation with NUDAM, the management of Bersivy 1 camp distributed 300 sets of winter clothing among the orphans and children with special needs. This happened on the 20th of December.
As a continuation of the monthly food aid, BCF provides the IDP families with, 2.709 families received their share of food items for the month of December. This happened on the 20th of December.
In cooperation with the management of Esyan camp, Seywan centre organized a women’s handicraft exhibition a couple of days ago.
On the 21st of December, Unicef distributed clothing at Germawa camp, among the children aged 0-14 years.
In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan camp, OPERATION MERCY distributed childeren’s clothing and shoes among the families that live at the camp.
At Mamrashan IDP camp, the organization OPERATION MERCY distributed some aid among the orphans that live there. This happened in cooperation with the management of the camp.
In cooperation with BRHA, UNHCR and Qandil distributed kerosene heaters among the IDP families of Kabarto 1 camp. The heaters were distributed among the families that hadn’t received one yet.
