In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, VOP started a course on how to bake cookies and sweets for 10 girls (10-24yrs old) at the youth center of the camp on the 27th of November, 2017.
In cooperation with the managements of the camps of Mamrashan Camp and Esyan Camp, BCF donated money to the IDPs of both camps on the 23th of November, 2017. About 22 families at Mamrashan Camp received 1,500,000 IQD and 32 families received 1,500,000 IQD at Esyan Camp. The families that received the funds are families that live in difficult circumstances (poor families or families without a father or mother, a woman without a husband). This financial support will be given to famlies like these on a regular basis.
In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, CARITAS distributed clothing and school stationery among the students at the camp on the 20th of November, 2017. About 1,956 students benefited from the distribution. Each school at the camp also received the following items: power generators, laptops and printers.
In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, VOP organized a football tournament for the youth (10-18yrs) at the camp on the 30th of October, 2017.
The English language course that had been organized at Mamrashan Camp by VOP, in cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, came to an end on the 30th of October, 2017. About 30 (10-25 yrs of age) individuals participated in the course.
In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, VOP distributed gifts among the the children at the camp that were freed from Daa’ash (ISIS) captivity. This was done for the purpose of supporting these children and making them happy. The activity took place on the 13th of August, 2017.
In cooperation with the management of Mamrashan Camp, an English language course was given at the camp. The course came to an end on the 8th of August, 2017. About 140 individuals benefited from the two-month course. At the end of the course the participants received a certificate.
On the 16th of July, the ceremony of opening a football field (made possible by CARITAS) at Mamrashan Camp took place. Among those who were present were, Mr. Ismail Mohamed Ahmed (the governor’s assistant), Mr. Idrees Nabi Saalih (the executive director of BRHA) and Ms. Laylan Mohamed Saalih (the program manager of BRHA). At the end of the ceremony two teams played a friendly match on the new football field.
After an inspection team was formed, consisting of the management of Mamrashan Camp and the police at the camp, the expiry dates of the food items in the stores in Mamrashan Camp were checked on the 6th of July, 2017.
