With the purpose of safeguarding the health of the IDP residents of Dawidiya camp, a committee consisting of employees of the management and the police of the camp, visited the shops and seized the expired products. This happened on the 20th of August, 2017.
In cooperation with the management of Dawidiya Camp, a course on how to create and handle projects came to an end on the 31st of July, 2017. The course was made possible in cooperation with Friyakewtna Mli.
In cooperation with Dawidiya Camp, the organization STEP IN organized a photo exhibition on the life of the IDPs at the camp on the 19th of July, 2017.
In order to promote coexistence among the IDPs, VOP and the management of Dawidiya Camp organized a seminar on coexistence for a number of IDPs at the camp on the 18th of July, 2017. A religion teacher was selected to give the seminar and spoke about the role of religion in accepting each other and coexistence.
After an inspection team was formed, consisting of the management of Dawidiya Camp and the police at the camp, the expiry dates of the food items in the stores in Dawidiya Camp were checked on the 16th of July, 2017. Several products were seized during the process.
In cooperation with the management of Dawidiya Camp, Eme (organization) gave a seminar on psychological issues and how to deal with people that have these issues to the IDPs at the camp on the 13th of July, 2017.
In cooperation with Dawidiya Camp, HARIKAR organized a seminar for the IDPs at the camp on how to obtain the legal documents after having lost them while fleeing (Shingal) from the terrorists of Daa’ash (ISIS). The seminar was given on the 10th of July, 2017.
In cooperation with UNICEF and Denge Piran, the management of Dawidiya organized a course on leadership, social cohesion and development on the 6th of July, 2017. The course will take 5 days and is being attended by 22 IDPs.
Several courses (like: barbering, sewing and handicraft) came to an end at Dawidiya Camp on the 6th of July, 2017. The courses had been organized by the management of Dawidiya Camp and IOM.
